WALLER
FAMILY OF WOODCOTE COLLECTION
OUTSIDE THE BOX
The
Waller family of Woodcote collection contains a wealth of local
information, ranging from title deeds to recipe books, from ancient
wax seals to an eyewitness account of the death of George IV.
The County Record Office has a number of exciting projects
to open the collection up to all those with an interest in Warwickshire's
past.
UPDATE:
Produced
to coincide with the OTB team's Priory In The Past Festival, Leek
Wootton History Group has recently published a booklet based on
recipes contained in Mary Wise's Recipe Books, which is available
free of charge, excluding P&P at £1.50. For more Information:

The Leigh
Educational Foundation
This is
a charitable body which makes grants to assist in the education or training
of young people. To qualify for a grant applicants must be: 1. Younger
than 25, 2. Resident (or but for their education would be resident) in
Stoneleigh, Ashow or Leek Wootton, 3. In full time education or training
