In its current incarnation, Leek Wootton Link was established in the early 1990s by Helen and Ruth Cornwall-Jones (the wife and daughter of the Vicar at that time) as a magazine for both the Church and Community.

When the Parish Council achieved Quality Parish status, requiring it to keep all residents fully informed of its activities, the decision was made that the size of the community (approximately 470 households), could only support one circulating newsletter.  The Parish Council therefore now supports the production of Leek Wootton Link.

The current Editorial Team took the magazine on in November 2010, setting out to pack the magazine with the latest news, reports on and upcoming events for groups and organisations, large and small, within the Parish.

Leek Wootton Link is published ten times a year, monthly (doubles: July/August, December/January) free of charge, although all readers are invited to make an annual donation towards the magazine.
